Hermann Goebel

Neckar Landscape at Gundelsheim, 1911

About the object

After Hermann Goebel had settled in Heinsheim on the Neckar, he concentrated mainly on painting this specific riparian landscape. This painting is a view of the neighbouring town Gundelsheim. The movement of the water as well as the reflections of clouds and buildings on its surface fascinated him in particular.
