About the object
Hugo Clorer (1823-1865) was first lieutenant and adjutant in the Third Baden Infantry Regiment. He is wearing the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Lion of Zähringen on his left breast and his adjutant's sash diagonally across his body from right to left. The Baden Griffin adorns his helmet. Clorer poses together with his charger in a casual attitude in a forest glade.
