About the object
Daggers with obsidian blades were used as a weapon in close combat. A human face is clearly recognisable at the thickest part of the handle. The geometric shapes running towards the top of the handle can be read as an abstract representation of the human body. Nothing is known about how the indigenous people interpret these symbols.
