About the object
Her husband Eugene's passion for art and music had introduced her to celebrities of the day, such as Franz Liszt, who were invited to her house. The same passion was inherited by her son Adolf II, who created the family portrait collection. She died in Rome, the eternal city, during a visit to her son Engelbert, who was studying there.
