About the object
This view is based on a compositional division into three zones - water, land and sky. The usual staffage is replaced by water, which is captured in an extremely differentiated way - from the rippling waves to the smooth surface, in which the lower town is reflected most attractively. Instead of the tree acting as staffage, it is replaced here by a sailing boat.
