At the exhibition: Critics, um 1922-1925
About the object
What do you think the critics Karl Scheffler and Julius Meier-Graefe are talking about while huddling together at an exhibition? Meier-Graefe gesticulates wildly with his left hand, casually propping himself up with the other arm, whereas Scheffler seems to be trying to impress an observation upon him, even whispering something in his ear? Rudolf Großmann depicted these two personalities in a variety of ways in his drawings and graphic works.
