Johann Martin Morat

At first, the sheet looks like the preparatory drawing for the gouache of Freiburg featuring the same motif. However, buildings were added in pencil afterwards, which were built at a later date - for example, St. Urban's church tower (1841), which rises up directly behind the Hebsack estate. Further houses are sketched toward the upper edge of the grid, presumably to be added later or as corrections.
