About the object
Morat occasionally used lithography in his work. Colours would certainly have been added to this print. Although the lithograph only hints at a number of details, it basically repeats the view of the Lenzkirch gouache. More houses were added to the right, where the village was able to spread out in the Haslach River’s flat valley basin.
