The twin towers of the Fridolin Minster mark the centre of Säkingen, which is pictured here in its north-easterly aspect. Three people wearing traditional Hotzenwälder Trachten or folk costumes meet on the sunlit path. A cloud in the sky lends an imaginative, abstract note to the otherwise naturalistic scene.
