Fritz Hase

The Paradiesmühle (Paradise Mill) gave the whole district its name and was one of the largest mills in Freiburg. The property consisted of the mill with living quarters, a magazine, stables, a shed and a laundry room. After the demolition, the university library was built here from 1896 (today Collegiate Building IV).
