Gottlieb Theodor Hase

The photograph of the Bertoldsbrunnen has been taken westward from the Salzstrasse and shows a large number of people gathered around the fountain. The striking building to the right of the fountain is the house "Zum Grossen und Kleinen Freiburger", one of the rare half-timbered houses in the city center, whose wooden structure was only uncovered in 1921.
