About the object
This shot is considered to be the first photographic representation of the central Freiburg building. The Minster protrudes from the mass of houses in the old town. A sundial can be seen on the gable of the transept. It was removed in 1863. On the third buttress on the south side of the choir the pinnacle built in 1855 in not there yet
