About the object
The view shows Freiburg's main street before the changes at the end of the 19th century. The proportions of the medieval plots are easy to recognize. The medieval gate Martinstor with the mural painting of Saint Martin has not been raised yet. The Bertoldsbrunnen fountain still has it’s first octagonal bowl of 1807.
