About the object
The photo was taken in the old village center of Herdern. The wine village had already been incorporated into Freiburg in 1457. G. Th. Hase took the picture from the intersection of Hauptstrasse and Stadtstrasse (road to the city). On the left you can see the Gasthaus Schwanen (Swan's Inn). Fritz Hase, the photographer's son, is standing in the middle of the picture.
