An evocative view taken by Adolfo Farsari of Kamakura Bay with fishermen returning to port in their boat. The local westerners named the location “Bund” after Shanghai’s waterfront area. The striking colours, suggesting an evening scene, can be credited to the work of the colourist, as the darkening horizon is not mirrored in the reflection on the surface of the ocean.
