Gottlieb Theodor Hase
Adelhauser church with square from the west, um 1865
About the object
The baroque complex of the Adelhauser Neukloster (new nunnery) with the church consecrated in 1699 had been built in the southern suburb by Dominican nuns who had been displaced by the war and the construction of the fortress. The nuns ran a school for girls here until the convent was dissolved in 1867. On the left is the barn of the Kammerer Bros. milling company
