About the object

Jesuitengasse (Jesuit's street) is narrower than the actual Bertoldstrasse, which was widened after 1945. The facade of the Jesuit church, built from 1683, towers over the neighboring houses. The buildings of the adjoining college, redesigned by 1726 were handed over to the university after 1773. The photo was taken at the junction with Niemensstrasse.
