Piece of Sports Equipment

This rounders’ ball is made from corn husks. This popular game was played by boys and young men, who stood in a circle and volleyed the balls to each other with the flat of their hands. The aim was to avoid allowing the balls to touch the ground. Often two balls were used at the same time.
