About the object
The Madonna's original location on or in the Minster is unknown. Her most recent position was on the middle of the three baroque columns in front of the West Tower; a copy now replaces it. Originally she could have formed a unity with the pair of candelabra in the form of angels (inventory numbers S 020, 021/M).
