Portrait-miniature
Portrait of Katharina Tritscheller, née Fürderer, 1790 - 1810
About the object
Katharina Tritscheller (1761-1831) was the wife of Matthäus Tritscheller, who became a person of some repute in the Black Forest as the 'Hutherr' of Lenzkirch. For her part, she is wearing a black blouse and bonnet in the portrait. The red and black scarf adds a colourful accent. Her blue skirt corresponds to the portrait’s blue background.
