About the object
Ignaz Heinrich Freiherr von Wessenberg (1774-1860) was a Roman Catholic theologian from the Swabian aristocracy. As vicar general in the diocese of Constance, he carried out far-reaching reforms. He was made an honorary citizen of the city of Constance in 1832. His portrait miniature in a narrow oval frame has a handy format.
