Under the motto “Fridays for Future”, school pupils skip their lessons on Fridays. With their protests drawing attention to climate policy issues, they demand measures for effective climate protection. During the demonstrations, they carry placards they have designed themselves. The movement was initiated in 2018 by Swedish Greta Thunberg who was 15 at the time.
