About the object
The woven water container adorned with leather belongs to the Delu fountain of the Kel-Ewey- Tuareg, which has been part of the Ethnological Collection since 2000. These vessels would be filled with water from the well. The well and the objects that belong to it come from the Aïr Mountains near the oasis of Timia, Niger.
