About the object
This townscape is dominated by the parish church of St. Peter and Paul, built in 1850, which replaced the monastery church destroyed by fire. Adjacent to it, we can see the box-shaped hospital built by Abbot Gerbert, a prince of the Empire. The castle is situated approximately in the centre of the composition and further to the right, the town hall (identifiable by its ridge turret) is visible.
