Disk made of lightweight wood worn by dancers during initiation ceremonies. The painting represents a very abstract human figure: the yellow fields are angled arms and legs, the dark field in the middle stands for the body. Discs of this kind were also placed on the big yam at yam harvest festivals. The human dancer is transformed through the jewellery and clothing he wears into a being from another world. The yam takes on human form via jewellery and adornment.
