Gottlieb Theodor Hase
The station with its forecourt from the north, vor 1872
About the object
On July 23, 1845, the Freiburg train station was opened by Grand Duke Leopold. The architect was Friedrich Eisenlohr. In 1872 the side wings were expanded, in which the restaurant and waiting rooms were housed. Hase's photo shows them before this conversion work, during which they were doubled in length.
