Predella

It depicts saints from various centuries ranging from the early Christian era to the 6th century. They are depicted in their important roles as Holy Helpers. Florian, for example, was the patron saint of fire fighters, Wendelin the patron saint of country people and herdsmen, as was Laurentius.
