The Four Evangelists Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are depicted with their respective attributes: angel, lion, bull and eagle. This altar front can be seen on weekdays. When the wings are opened on holidays, the central panel with the crucifixion of Christ appears inside, flanked by the apostles Peter and Paul.
