Bodice | Omutombe

Women's bodice made of round, threaded ostrich shell platelets interspersed here and there with iron platelets. To form the main section of the bodice, the string of beads has been arranged in a tight spiral, held in place vertically by woven leather straps. The strings of beads are tied to the leather stays with leather straps.
