About the object
The view from the north provides an aspect of the old town. Strictly speaking, the castle hill would not be visible at all from this viewpoint, as it is located behind the viewer. However, Morat has integrated it as a landmark of Staufen, certainly also to satisfy the expectations of his clientele.
