About the object
Looking out from the Dinkelberg, Morat surveys the valley across to the town and the Entegast ridge, behind which the bluish peak of the Zeller Blauen is visible. The massive tower of the late-gothic St. Michael's Church dominates the townscape. The Gottschalk spinning mill spreads out to the left and the Schützenhaus (shooting club house), built in 1837, sits majestically on the hillside.
