The restaurant Bizenya can be seen here from the perspective of the guests. Surrounded by dancers and musicians, four men partake of sake and food. As larger gatherings were banned in public, meetings, lectures and concerts were held in restaurants. Yet another print from the collection shows the Bizenya, but from the point of view of the employed courtesans (V/2037).
