Burkard Frauenfelder

This otherwise silver vessel is offset by the richly contrasting golden horizontal design features. The six individual side panels of the cup are adorned with simple engravings: under the clasp, the monogram IHS indicating Jesus is inscribed into the halo, as well as the year 1609. The Saviour and Mary are positioned on either side. The Minster factory's mark, a cleft cross in the shield, has been engraved onto the base.
